When you walk towards the end of Frederick Crescent in Port Ellen and go up the hill on your left there is an area called The Ard and it's a nice wee walk back to Texa Crescent through a nice area with lovely views towards Texa, Kintyre and the south-east coast of Islay towards Ardbeg & Co. It won't take you longer than half an hour or so and it's very much worth it!
